Our Story
We’re two best friends who grew up surrounded by the beauty of Jewish traditions, from joyful Shabbat dinners to meaningful celebrations with our communities.
After traveling the world and building careers in luxury hospitality and operations, we saw an opportunity in Mallorca to help others celebrate their Jewish heritage with ease and authenticity.
Mazal Mallorca was born from that vision: a service that blends cultural knowledge with expert coordination.
We support couples, families, and event professionals, ensuring every Jewish celebration is smooth, meaningful, and beautifully executed.
Meet the team
Karen Kochmann
I grew up in a Jewish home in Colombia, surrounded by tradition, celebration, and a strong sense of community.
After years of living in Mallorca, working in hospitality and building partnerships around the world, I wanted to find new ways to contribute to the Jewish life on the island.
Mazal Mallorca was born with the goal of helping people celebrate Jewish life in a way that feels easy, authentic and full of heart, while exploring the beauty of Mallorca.
Ilanit Goldschmidt
Born in Colombia with German roots, raised under the Venezuelan sun, and fueled by a mix of arepas, matze balls, and a lot of Jewish holiday food.
Like Karen, I grew up in a loving Jewish home full of traditions, celebrations, and more family gatherings than there were days in the week (or at least that’s how it felt).
After living in over six countries and building a global career leading tech start-ups across industries from luxury hospitality to fintech and SaaS, I decided to settle on the stunning island of Mallorca, with my husband and daughter.
Now happily calling Mallorca our home, I look forward to adding my little grain of salt to help grow and sparkle Jewish life here, with Karen and the growing community.
